Engraved Imitation Ivory
Dunbar Bagpipe's imitation ivory is a speciality made Delrin material, which is a very strong durable material. Due to this fact, we are now able to add machine engraving to our imitation ivory. Right now, only stock, bass and tenor ferrules are available but we plan on expanding it to include projecting mounts and ring caps as well.
Most other makers use a very brittle cast polyester material (normally from GPS Agencies) which has a tendancy to chip and break very easily (we know because we replace these type of mounts all the time). There is no way that this brittle material would be able to withstand the process involved in engraving them.

Military Style Drone Tops
Most people are aware of our Chalice style drone tops for our P1 or DB1 model of bagpipes. We are pleased to announce that we are now also offering a "Military" style (see below) drone top.
Many people like the style of our Chalice style tops but some do not so we decided to offer our least expensive bagpipe models in either styles.
