The College’s Tutor 3 manual has been re-written by Principal Robert Wallace. The tutor comes complete with a new companion CD of instruction at no extra charge. It is the natural progression from the world beatiung Tutor 1, the Green Tutor. Tutor 3 provides an introduction to the playing of competition marches, strathspeys, reels, hornpipes and jigs. There are also tunes for dancing and lessons on standard pieces such as Scotland the Brave and Flowers of the Forest. With Tutor 1, Tutor 3 has all the tunes and theory necessary to pass the light music sections of the Pipe and Drumming Qualifications Board Levels 1 - 4 examinations.
